Circulating supply is the Hedera Mirror Node's released supply: the total supply less the balances of Hedera treasury and system accounts; it agrees with CoinGecko's circulating supply. The treasury report counts HBAR as released when it first leaves a Council or staff account, so the two can differ (report, end of Q3 2026: 43.85B HBAR). HBAR staked is the total staked to consensus nodes for the current staking period (one UTC day); the maximum staking reward is the network's maximum daily reward rate per HBAR, times 365. Treasury report as of October 6, 2026. Data as of Oct 8, 2026.
Hedera is governed by the Hedera Council, whose members vote on network software, pricing and treasury decisions and run the consensus nodes. Consensus weight follows the HBAR staked to each node, up to a per-node maximum.

genfinity.ioFrequently Asked Questions
What does this page cover?
Public data about Hedera: the HBAR market price, supply and market capitalization, network activity, decentralized finance, real world assets, governance by the Hedera Council, and the ecosystem.
How often is the data updated?
The HBAR price and network throughput refresh every 10 seconds while the page is open. Other figures refresh on a schedule, from every few minutes to every six hours. Daily network statistics are added once each UTC day has closed. All dates and times are in UTC.
Where does the data come from?
From public sources: exchange market data, the Hedera Mirror Node operated by Hedera, the Hedera Council's treasury management report and meeting minutes, and public market, decentralized finance and real world asset data aggregators. The notes under each section name the sources and define each figure.
What counts as a transaction?
Every transaction recorded on the Hedera mainnet, successful or not, including child transactions that another transaction triggers (for example an account created automatically by a transfer). Daily totals add up the transactions in every block that starts in the UTC day.
What is free, and what is for subscribers?
Live figures, price charts and the last quarter (92 days) of chart history are free on every network page. Reports, the report archive, downloads and full chart history are for subscribers. Subscriptions open once our licensed data sources are in place; plans are on the pricing page.
How do I subscribe or unsubscribe?
Report subscriptions open soon, once our licensed data sources are in place; plans are on the pricing page. Existing subscribers can unsubscribe or change their choices from the link in any Genfinity email.
