XDC pays transaction fees and is staked to run masternodes: a masternode candidate stakes at least 10 million XDC. Every epoch of 900 rounds creates 5,000 new XDC, 4,500 paid to masternode owners and their voters and 500 to the foundation wallet.

What does this page cover?
Public data about the XDC Network: the XDC market price, supply, staking and market capitalization, network activity and fees, masternodes and protocol releases, decentralized finance, stablecoins, real world assets, and the ecosystem.
How often is the data updated?
The XDC price refreshes every 10 seconds and throughput every minute while the page is open. Masternode and stake figures refresh every five minutes; other figures from every hour to every six hours. Daily statistics are added once each UTC day has closed. All dates and times are in UTC.
Where does the data come from?
From public sources: exchange market data, the public XDC RPC (blocks, masternodes, stake and each epoch's rewards), XDCScan (daily transactions, addresses, fees and contracts), and public market, decentralized finance and real world asset data aggregators. The notes under each section name the sources and define each figure.
What counts as a transaction?
Every block, the masternodes send signing transactions to the network's BlockSigner contract as part of consensus; they are about 94% of all XDC transactions. Daily transaction counts include them, as XDCScan reports them; live throughput is shown both with and without them.
Why is the supply marked as project-reported?
The XDC Network does not publish an on-chain circulating or total supply figure, so these come from the project's own figures on CoinGecko, and market cap uses them. The 37.5 billion XDC created at genesis, the stake and the new XDC created each day are read directly from the network.
What is free, and what is for subscribers?
Live figures, price charts and the last quarter (92 days) of chart history are free on every network page. Reports, the report archive, downloads and full chart history are for subscribers. Subscriptions open once our licensed data sources are in place; plans are on the pricing page.
