Transactions: per UTC day from DefiLlama, which matched a recount of every ledger on the XRP Ledger (full history from May 14, 2026 for subscribers); latest complete day Oct 7, 2026, 2.23M transactions. They include transactions that failed but still paid their fee. XRP burned: every transaction fee is destroyed, so the XRP burned in a UTC day is the fall in the ledger's total XRP between the last ledgers before consecutive midnights (full history from January 2024 for subscribers). Fees in USD, DeFi TVL, DEX volume and stablecoin supply: DefiLlama, chain XRPL. RLUSD and USDC issued: read from each issuer's account on the ledger.

Tokenized real world assets and stablecoins on the XRP Ledger: assets distributed to holders on the network, and assets that use the XRP Ledger as their record-keeping layer.

Source: rwa.xyz, the XRP Ledger network page. Distributed: tokens that holders subscribe to, hold and transfer on the XRP Ledger. Represented: assets recorded on the XRP Ledger by their issuer or platform, held off network. Tables cover distributed and represented value plus stablecoins (total 6.29B USD); shares are of that total. Data as of Oct 8, 2026, 20:35 UTC.

All 100 billion XRP were created when the XRP Ledger launched, and no more can be created. Every transaction destroys a small fee in XRP, so the total only falls. Ripple holds part of the supply in escrows on the ledger that unlock on the first of each month.

Each row is the XRP whose escrow can be released from that date. Release is not automatic: Ripple finishes the escrow and has typically placed part of each month's XRP back into new escrows, so the schedule changes as that happens.

All figures read from the XRP Ledger. Total XRP: the ledger's own count of XRP in existence. XRP burned: 100 billion minus that total. Escrow: every XRP escrow held by Ripple's escrow accounts. Circulating supply: total XRP minus Ripple's escrow; it still includes XRP Ripple holds outside escrow and about 0.15 billion XRP in other parties' escrows, which is why it is higher than the circulating figure some data providers publish. Updated every five minutes.

The XRP Ledger has no mining or staking. Independent validators agree on each ledger, and each server trusts a list of validators; the default lists are published by Ripple and by the XRPL Foundation. Protocol changes, called amendments, take effect after at least 80% of those validators support them for two weeks.

Validator lists: vl.ripple.com and unl.xrplf.org, decoded and compared. Quorum: the XRP Ledger servers' own setting. Amendments: the ledger's amendment status (feature); support and expected dates from the XRPL Foundation's validator history service (data.xrpl.org). Each amendment links to its entry on xrpl.org Known Amendments (opens in a new tab), with its specification in the XRPL Standards (XLS) (opens in a new tab) where xrpl.org names one; an amendment xrpl.org does not describe yet links to the list. Server releases: XRPLF/rippled on GitHub, dated by GitHub's published date, and release posts on xrpl.org, dated by the post's publication date (emergency releases are sometimes published only there).

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this page cover?

Public data about the XRP Ledger: the XRP market price, supply, burn and Ripple's escrow, network activity and fees, validators and amendments, decentralized finance, stablecoins, real world assets, and the ecosystem.

How often is the data updated?

The XRP price refreshes every 10 seconds and throughput every minute while the page is open. Supply, escrow and stablecoin figures refresh every five minutes; validators and amendments every 30 minutes; other figures from every hour to every six hours. Daily statistics are added once each UTC day has closed. All dates and times are in UTC.

Where does the data come from?

From public sources: exchange market data, the XRP Ledger itself through public servers (total XRP, fees burned, escrow, stablecoins issued, amendments), the validator lists published by Ripple and the XRPL Foundation, DefiLlama (daily transactions, fees in USD, decentralized finance), and public market and real world asset data aggregators. The notes under each section name the sources and define each figure.

Why is the circulating supply higher than on some data sites?

This page reads circulating supply from the ledger: all XRP in existence minus the XRP locked in Ripple's escrows. Some data providers also subtract XRP that Ripple holds outside escrow, using their own lists of Ripple accounts, so their figure is lower. Market cap on this page uses the ledger-based figure.

Is XRP burned?

Yes. Every transaction pays a small fee in XRP that is destroyed, not paid to anyone, so the total supply only falls. The daily figure here is the exact fall in the ledger's own count of XRP between the last ledgers of consecutive days.

What is free, and what is for subscribers?

Live figures, price charts and the last quarter (92 days) of chart history are free on every network page. Reports, the report archive, downloads and full chart history are for subscribers. Subscriptions open once our licensed data sources are in place; plans are on the pricing page.

How do I subscribe or unsubscribe?

Report subscriptions open soon, once our licensed data sources are in place; plans are on the pricing page. Existing subscribers can unsubscribe or change their choices from the link in any Genfinity email.

Is this investment advice?

No. The information on this page is provided for general information only. See the disclosures below.

Who publishes this page, and is it sponsored?

This page is published by Genfinity. A statement on how this page is commissioned and funded will be published here.

Not Investment Advice
The information on this page is provided for general information only. It is not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it is not an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The value of digital assets can change quickly.
Data Sources & Limitations
Figures come from third-party and on-chain sources and are provided without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Sources can be delayed, interrupted or revised; when a source is unavailable, the last available value is shown. XRP burned, total XRP, escrow and circulating supply are read from the XRP Ledger (daily burn from Jan 1, 2024; escrow and circulating supply recorded from Sep 28, 2026). Transactions per day come from DefiLlama, whose figure matched a recount of every ledger, from May 14, 2026. Circulating supply is total XRP minus Ripple's escrow and is higher than providers that also exclude Ripple's other holdings. Decentralized finance and real world asset figures cover only the applications and assets the aggregators track. Figures are unaudited. All times are UTC.
Forward-Looking Statements
Some content, such as scheduled upgrades, governance votes, events and third-party announcements, refers to future events.
